Children's Ministry Volunteers

Thank you for your interest in volunteering to work with our children at Great Bridge Baptist Church.

We are grateful for the volunteers that God has sent to help us teach children about God's greatness and worth, encourage them to glorify God, inspire them to live holy lives and challenge them to serve God joyfully.

We are always looking for people who are passionate about teaching children about our great God.  If you are one of these people, we welcome you to join our team!

Our Ministries

NURSERY
Join us in caring for these precious little ones.  Even at this young age, we share the story of God's love.
PRESCHOOL
Join us as we introduce Preschoolers to the truth that Jesus wants to be their best friend forever.
ELEMENTARY
Join us as we challenge Elementary children to grow in their knowledge of God and make their faith their own.

Opportunities to Serve

Check-In / Greeting

Flexible Schedule
Help us greet children and families as they arrive.  Assist those who need it with the check-in software and provide guidance for first-time guests.

Life Group Leaders [Sunday School]

Serve Every Week / Every Other Week
Lead a small group of children each week by helping them understand and apply the big ideas and activities from the weekly lesson plans.

Preschool Worship / Kids Praise

Serve Once a Month
Following our large group worship experiences, these volunteers lead small groups of children through activities that reinforce the weeks lesson.

Lead Communicators

Serve Once a Month
Help us lead Preschool Worship & Kids Praise by teaching the Bible story, leading large group activities, and engaging children in worship.

Supply / Resource Team

Flexible Schedule
Don't have a desire to work with children?  Consider helping us prepare and stage the weekly activity supplies for our Preschool & Children's volunteers.

Cleaning / Laundry

Flexible Schedule
Help us create a safe and sanitary environment for children and their families.  Assist with sanitizing toys, cleaning classrooms, and laundering crib sheets.
